Ubuntu 10.04 to set search provider back to Google
Ubuntu decided that it would switch its search provider back to google
"Each release we determine the best default web browser and the best default search engine for Ubuntu. When choosing the best default search provider, we consider factors such as user experience, user preferences,
and costs and benefits for Ubuntu and the browsers and other projects that make up Ubuntu. Up until Ubuntu 9.10 these defaults have always been Firefox and Google. Earlier in the 10.04 cycle I announced that we
would be changing the default search provider to Yahoo!, and we implemented that change for several milestones."

How to connect two Xbox 360 consoles on a network?
Trying to setup port forwarding on your Linksys router to for one Xbox to access the online gaming is pretty easy, but what happens when your friend comes around with his Xbox and you both are trying to play online from a single internet connection ?
This got me wondering, since you can only port forward to a single IP address on your internal network. Here is a solution to you online gaming fanatics:
Free Firewall for Business Use
Need an essential firewall ??? and it is FREE
I was setting up my lab for testing over the Weekend, but could not find my spare firewall laying around :))) I am sure its somewhere amongst all the LAB equipment. Trying to keep things neat and tidy, aswell as keeping my LAB as Green as possible, I came across the Astaro Essential Firewall for VMware, and find out that its free for up to 50 IP's. Since most of the offices in Cyprus are well under 50 users I guess this is a thumbs up for them. So, I downloaded it... uploaded it to my VMware Server and hooked up one of the ethernet ports of the server to my ISP and got it up and running. Its truely an amazing firewall, easy to configure with all the how-to guides from their site.

Blackra1n 3.1.3 Jailbreak Still Pending
Blackra1n 3.1.3 Jailbreak Still Pending
Geohot yet to provide his own set of jailbreak & unlock tools for iPhone OS 3.1.3
Those who rely on Geohot’s tools for jailbreaking and / or unlocking their devices still have some waiting time to do, according to the hacker whose recent feats involve breaking into Sony’s PlayStation 3 gaming console. “[...] Don't upgrade to 3.1.3 if you like blackweather,” his latest blog post reads. Geohot is referring to his Blackra1n and Blacksn0w hacks. Softpedia doesn’t condone jailbreaking. While Blackra1n does the jailbreak part, and quite swiftly may we add, Blacksn0w unlocks an iPhone’s baseband for use with any carrier’s services, including pre-paid cards. Those looking to hack their devices start out by downloading their appropriate version of Blackra1n. Available for both Mac and Windows, the tool currently provides the fastest jailbreak process, although it doesn’t support the latest iPhone firmware – 3.1.3. And while it is able to jailbreak devices running iPhone OS 3.1.2, it doesn’t pave the way for a software unlock in the future, so it’s not too recommended for people who don’t know much about these two aspects (jailbreak / unlock).
